Meadow Glade
Nashville, TN based band, started 2025.
Genre: polished indie; alternative rock
Currently they have just one song released - "Magnolia".
The track is positioned as a meditation on loss and continuity. According to the band, the central theme is the realisation that "even after the winter subsides, the people we’ve lost will always be there, 'like water flowing through the ground'."
Rather than hitting the listener with a "wall of sound" immediately, "Magnolia" utilises a restrained opening. The instrumentation begins sparsely, allowing the vocal melody to dictate the pace. It’s built to be immersive.
"Magnolia" manages to tackle the heavy subject of grief without resorting to melodrama, relying instead on a well-constructed sonic progression to carry the message.
I would categorize this song together with Pinegrove's "Need 2".
Also, they do have more songs, as seen on their instagram page (@meadowgladeband), however they seem to not be released anywhere and have only been played live.
